Return of the Jedi saw extensive
use of weaponry, but very little quantifiable material.
First, there is the battle
over Endor.
The very
heaviest turbolaser bolts are of similar length to some capital ships,
and
can potentially destroy them in one hit

.
Meanwhile,
small thermonuclear devices are in use, implying that megaton range
weaponry remains effect.
Home One
was rocked by
"thermonuclear
fireworks,"
after
all.
A new weapon, the concussion missile, is displayed onscreen. Its role
appears little different from the smaller proton torpedo; however, it
is known to be more powerful.
The second Death Star can fire its superlaser like a giant turbolaser.
One short burst, with no appreciable charging period, could down an
unharmed Mon Calamari cruiser with a single hit. This is the best
example of accurate long-range fire in Star Wars.
Second, we have the battle
on
Endor. This battle features speederbikes, chicken walkers, and a
variety of Ewok contraptions; this allows us to gauge the strength of
Imperial light vehicles, which both produce and are vulnerable to
megajoule range weapons

.
Stormtroopers reach a new low of effectiveness.

It is not
difficult to scale some
of the turbolaser bolts seen to 500 meters in length, ten times the
length of the typical bolts fired by capital ships; presumably it is
the Mon Calamari cruisers and Imperial Star Destroyers that fire these
bolts.

On the
ground in Endor, we see collateral damage from blasters. This
tree below was burst by AT-ST fire:
Depending on the type, condition, and exact size of this tree, the
energy involved in exploding a segment of it without excess scorching
falls between 1 and 10 megajoules. Similarly, AT-STs prove
vulnerable to low megajoule range impacts from logs.

Specialized
equipment known as rocks, logs, bows, arrows, and clubs
were used at great length by the Ewoks in order to counteract the great
firepower of the AT-STs; however, as the capabilities of these weapons
are well explored elsewhere on the internet, we will not explore them
further here. Suffice it to say that stormtrooper armor does not appear
greatly effective against primitive weapons.
