The massed Rebel and Imperial fleets in ROTJ are more imposing than any found in ANH or TESB. The Imperial deployment in particular (40 Star Destroyers, including one Super Star Destroyer) qualifies as the largest deployment seen in the OT, substantially outmassing the Rebel fleet sent to destroy the Death Star. However, the Rebel fleet achieved victory regardless. This indicates that the Rebels either have superior warships, or truly overwhelming luck.
