The infamous BDZ picture?

Post by Lucky » Wed Jan 04, 2012 11:50 pm

Image

Where did this picture come from? Was it a trading card, comic book, or what?

What is the context of the scene? What is suppose to be happening?

Why is a picture of a Star Destroyer of some type flying near a dumbbell or potato shaped asteroid seemingly made out of cheese on the Wookiepedia Base Delta Zero page? It doesn't seem to be very impressive.

It's still spherical.

all attempts at humor aside, it DOES seem weird that the explosions on the giant cheese potato are happening on separate sides simultaneously. are we really supposed to believe they're being caused by turbolaser bombardment from the single star destroyer which is quite visibly NOT FIRING?

The captain merely said the name Saxton and the planetoid potato asploded. Don't you know anything about physics?

The planetary body in the image was debunked as being spherical ages ago.

It's the narrow end of a potato, or dumbbell shape. You can see a huge trench or bulge that is partly covered by the Star Destroyer.

Follow the link, and you will see a photo shopped version that proves the nearest cheese looking thing is not round: http://www.starfleetjedi.net/forum/view ... ard#p28124
