Redshirts and Stormtroopers vs. Gungans and Pakleds

Post by Khas » Mon Feb 08, 2010 7:15 pm

Today, we have a battle between the incompetent and the stupid of ST and SW. On the side of the incompetent, we have redshirts and stormtroopers, led by Abbadon the Despoiler. On the side of the stupid, we have the Gungans and Pakleds, led by Homer Simpson and Peter Griffin. The two sides must try to destroy each other while suffering minimal losses. Who wins?

Abaddon's side, he may be a total failure at toppling the Imperium but he's at least a soldier. I wouldn't trust Homer and Peter to do anything but drink and have unrelated flashbacks.

Plus he can probably summon nasty things.

I agree with Dude, that from a strict real-world military stand point that Abaddon ought to win, but Homer and Peter have an insane chaos factor that makes them winning on some outlandish accident a distinct possibility.

But you have to remember what each army is made of.

Yeah, guys with pew-pew lasers vs guys with balls backed up by fatties in padded jackets. My money is still with Abaddon.

Knowing Abbadon the way I do, I'm sure that he'd be smart enough to order his red shirts at the very least to use their phasers on wide spread heavy stun (depleting all power packs in the process, if need be) on the Gungans and Pakleds, while the Stormtroopers go in for the coup de grace with thermal detonators and heavy blasters.

Wow. Talk about thread necromancy. This was meant as a comedic thread, about the incompetent vs. the stupid. But seriousness got pulled in, and it died. Word of advice Jason; when a thread dies, keep it dead.

By the standards of SFJ, three months in the grave for a thread really isn't much. Some of us are only occasionally active, and our lax rules don't mention anything about thread necromancy.

Not to my knowledge...

He should know better than to mess with me, considering I've given him more than a few thrashings over at Club ASVS...

But then again, knowing Jason, I really shouldn't be surprised.

Too true. Somehow, I get the feeling that if Jason left Club ASVS, it would become a much more boring place.

How the hell can you guys even decipher his posts? It's like trying to read a newspaper that a dog ate and then shat out.

Speaking of Jason, his trial in the Moron Court (Part Deux) on ASVS has finally begun.
