This is a question I've been itching to ask ever since the 200th episode aired I mean look:

So what do you think are they? Could the SW Ewoks be the 4th race!

If you don't think it's funny or worthwhile, just ignore it.
You don't need to act like an a** about it...

He has the right to speak his mind. It then comes down to JMS' tolerance on this, really.
And yes, it's a bullshit thread.

If it's simply to be rude, and contribute to nothing worthwhile, then he can also just shut up, and ignore the thread.
And yes, it's a bullshit thread.
Then ignore it and go read something else.
Punkmaister probably thought it was funny, and that's why he posted it.
You have the right to think it's not funny, but there's no reason for you to be so rude.

The only thing I'm going to add is that it was pretty clear to the Stargate producers themselves that the inclusion of the Furling species in the Stargate universe was a massive mistake, as they have only been seen very, very rarely (possibly just the one episode).

Not to mention, the costuming just looks cheap and unconvincing. Even Richard Dean Anderson himself seems less than bemused.

I think the whole point of the 200th episode was to be a joke and so it was with the look of the furlings but yes they did look cheap even for a joke.

*sigh*
It was a fucking minute-short joke.
They were not going to break budget for stupid suits.

I have to admit, I never saw the episode. But since I have never seen the Furlings in subsequent episodes...I think I'll take Mr. Oragahn's statement :)

Well I'm glad you had fun because that's what the thread was about just to have a moment of fun and not to be taken seriously.

I think you misunderstand, I was laughing at all the bickering that seems to be ever present in threads where both you and Oragahn participate. Internet disputes amuse me.
