Hot off the presses on SB.com we have a fine example of Stormtrooper accuracy and close range blaster firepower.
They managed to hit the flower shoved up the barrel at least and how many joules does it take to make it catch fire?....:).
Please say one of the ICS mention ST blasters so i can add this to the incompatible thread :).

It does. The EP2:ICS talks about 10km-ranges for blaster rifles (with stormtrooper helmet HUDs and tripods for stabilizing) and 0.5 meters craters being blown in concrete walls by max-power shots.
Power settings are specifically mentioned though so low demonstrated firepower isn't a contradiction ... ;)
Just for information in case anyone didn't get the joke, the quoted comic ("Apocalypse Endor," Star Wars: Tales #14) is also deliberate parody material and non canon per the EU policy, so I doubt it'll be much use in a vs debate in any case... :)

I'm not sure that is an example of blaster firepower. It looks like a good case could be made that the Storm Troop missed the flower.
