Admiral Akbar tries to take DS9

Post by Admiral Breetai » Tue May 17, 2011 1:08 am

the good Admiral gets his fleet from the battle of endor before it got all smashed up by by the DS2

DS9 gets the USS Defiant and what ever federation and klingon forces are normally deployed there around the time of the Dominion War (we'll say a dozen BOP'S lead by Martoks BOP and feds get two upgraded Ambassadors and three defiants and some DW era mirandas)

Akbar needs to critically damage or destroy the station and route the forces gathered to defend it for a victory

Sisko needs to blast them all out of the stars Martok and Edward Jellicho lead the space based forces

bonus match up: the Imperial forces from endor (minus the DS2) launch a fullscale invasion of the SOL system with earth and mars as their intended target this is during the Dominion War

hows this go?

Ackbar loses... Badly...

DS9 itself, without any support, was able to repel an entire fleet of Dominion and Cardassian vessels for some time, and long before that, an entire fleet of Klingon vessels...

Now you're giving it a small force of ships as well?
It's not a curbstomp, but it's very close...

Akbar was allot more cautious then weyoun and allot more stable then Dukat was at the time I figured between that and the mon cals it'd be pretty tight

That is if you assume comparable firepower for capital ships. But since you didn't, we go with canon showings... which means curbstomp for ST.

What that would really mean is that Akbar would order a retreat more readily than Dukat and Weyon , who had a much larger fleet, and firepower than Akbar does to get the job done.

HE has one warship overload its hyperdrive and ram DS9. There's nothing better he can do.

Wouldn't the Malevolence's destruction be a better example?
