Why do people think UFP and Empire go to war

As far as I can see like hood that either the UFP form Star Terk or the Empire from Star wars got to war with each other.
UFP is not known for running into wars. UFP known put up Klingon Empire at least bad come Human rights if not worst then the Empire form Star wars.

As for the Empire form star wars money talks. .UFP being run by Communism means every thing be a lot more cheaper to build. Mean make sense for the Empire in Star wars to become UFP best friend. So all smell combat spacecrafts Empire build could build UFP instead for smell price.
