You want to use a wanked out Star Wars? Assuming full competence? It's on.
We know that the Empire was able to build the Death Star 2 in secret around Endor to 60% completion in 6 months. Assuming a 900 km diameter, that would be a volume of almost 4 * 10^17 meters cubed. That would be able to fit over 4 * 10^15 star destroyers, aka over 4 hundred trillion star destroyers. That's in 10 months, since it was 60% complete in 6 months.
So therefore, in the span of 10 months, Star Wars would have a force of at least 4 hundred trillion star destroyers. Add in the other factions in Star Wars, and the fact that the Death Star 2 was constructed in secret, and the number increases substantively, but let's be fair and only increase it by a factor of 2. 8 hundred trillion star destroyers? Wow.
Therefore, the combined Star Wars alliance would be cranking out over 8 hundred trillion star destroyers every 10 months. The Federation at its height had about 1000 planets. The Alpha Quadrant would have what; at most 5000? That's 160 billion star destroyers per planet, but 80 billion per planet if half stay behind to defend Star Wars. Even the most rapid but still sane trekkie; no offense intended, would agree that 80 billion star destroyers could BDZ a planet in extremely short time. Therefore, within 10 months Star Trek is swarmed by so many star destroyers that even the sub kiloton interpretations of them would win through sheer numbers.
Oh, but what about the borg, species 8472, etc.? The Celestials ftw. Mass produce Centerpoint stations. Then, mass produce sun crushers. Boom. The entire borg collective and species 8472 is wiped out in a mass superweapon volley.
But it gets even better/worse. Ever heard of flow walking in Star Wars? A group of Jedi with the ability could get a holo recorder, flow walk back to when the Star Trek dudes were making every technology that the Star Wars side wants but that the Star Trek side has, and record the construction of them. Gasp! Star Wars suddenly not only has their own technology and a ridiculous numerical superiority, but they also get Star Trek's technology too! Star destroyers with cloaks and warp strafing? Cloaked Jedi? Gasp!
Possible rebuttals:
Why didn't they do that in the movies? Because of some unknown reason. There are some known ones though. Lack of sufficient crew would be a main one. Stupidity would be another. The difficulty in coordinating such a large fleet would be another?
But wouldn't that also hurt this side? Having the combined resources of all of Star Wars sort of cancels that out, especially if you put the competent and best people on top, such as Luke, Thrawn, Ackbar, Leia, aka people that can actually get stuff done.
Doesn't this sound a little wankish? Fully united and competent sci fi forces typically do, because they can do stuff that they otherwise couldn't.
