What is Ewok jerky?

Is it Ewok made into jerky. A rather dark possibility given the Ewoks seemingly planned to turn the rebel commando team in Return of the Jedi into jerky.
Is it jerky made by Ewoks? A rather dark possibility given Ewoks are a highly intelligent race comparable to humans.
This little tidbit paints the Star Wars Galaxy as a rather dark setting where you have to worry if your neighbor plans on eating you as the main course. It certainly makes you wonder if slaves are often eaten.
