That might not work as well as you think it would. I suggest you take a look at the scene where Qui-Gon Jin tries to cut through the blast door on the Trade Federation ship at the beginning of Episode One. The Night Sisters do have an odd light bow and arrow though, but I can't recall it ever being used on screen.
