Starfleet Jedi

Be it from a Jedi, Sith, Dark Jedi or else as long as it's like a lightsabre, longer or shorter, two of them, curved or not.
What is your favourite design, why? Do you just prefer the blade colour?

personally, i like the double red ones with the weird pulsing effect in tfu2. but that's just because they look the coolest.
i sort of like the idea of the saber/whip thing in the first book of the series that comes after new jedi order.

Count Dooku's saber probably has the most stylish handle, while Mace Windu's purple blade wins huge points for just simply breaking with the boring traditional, red, green, and blue colors.

I prefer the fiery-orange blade from the PC version of Kotor, when you have the Heart of the Guardian...

Nope. Not to mention, purple now gets manliness points, because it's Samuel L. Jackson's favorite color. That's why Mace Windu has a purple lightsaber.

"The Mandalore Plot", "Voyage of Temptation", and "Duchess of Mandalore". It's called the darksaber.

I'll have to look those episodes over again because I don't recall the darksaber.

I don't like the whip thing. It looks a fanboy's extreme lack of taste gone mad.
There are times not trying to expand too much is, in my opinion, a virtue, and keeping with what we already have satisfying enough.
The new Kotor MMO offers a wide range of Sith lightsabres that really look nice. I can't really claim to be very happy with the bulky designs of the OT safe for Vader's weapon.
As far blades go, I wouldn't mind seeing a sun-like gold-orange blade.

For the colours of Jedi blades, I prefer the light blue/near-turquoise and the green with fine yellow hues, although the colour of Luke's weapon in ROTJ was very nice.

The latest two prequels and TCWS blades are all like this (although not that pointy):

Looks prettier and feels less cheap.

I like the pointyness to it. It looks more swordlike.
