the weird thing is he's actually quite funny imo usually. it's only when he seems to be trying to, i don't know, make a joke to imply that i need to tone it down, or leave someone alone, or something, that he crashes and burns. i could be totally misconstruing the situation, but it's usually just after i say something to mike that i get a response which seems less funny than usual, and sometimes extremely forced, like the ahah thing.

i am the last person in the world to make a judgement call on what will be funny to other people. i am often the only one finding my humor funny, i think. i was only speaking for myself.
and in retrospect that came off a little mean which was unintentional. i'd give you a 75% hit rate as far as making me, personally, chuckle. that's pretty damn good.
