And no, you can't vote for your own.

These are various fanfics written throughout the 5 years that this board has been active.

And I really need to get back to writing "From One World To Another", but my big Fanfic, "Fluid Power Evangelion", has been weighing pretty heavily on me.

I never read when empires collide is it worth it? Synopses? you have a point this place has been around for awhile I just didn't think it had that rich a history to merit a pole thread, Great Galactic war should get a nod for utter hilarity

edit: work on the eva one then..when it gets off your brain come back

Empire finds a wormhole to 23rd century Romulan space and the two join forces to take down the threat they both see to their expansion in the Milky Way Galaxy. The Federation. Cue Han and company jetting over in the MF as a spanner in the works and being picked up by the Enterprise. I enjoyed it but found it unfortantly rather short legged.

"Yet Another Wormhole-Based Crossover Fanfic" is still the overall best story, if for no other reason than JMS setting up the feedback participation by members in the Trek/Wars forum, which has a real impact on how the next chapter in the story goes. Plus you've got to love the wackiness he threw in there that makes fun of all the cliches, memes, and tropes of Trek versus Wars fanfics, while still pretending to be straight-faced in story narration.

As the guy who wrote "When empires collide" all I can say is...I wish I knew what to do with the story. I got stuck with a bit of writers block and couldn't decide exactly what to do with the rest of the tale.
One day I will finish it, and perhaps I will also finish my first story "Worthy adversaries" in which the movie era Kirk gets transported via a star gate to the unknown regions of the SW galaxy and has to play cat and mouse with Grand Admiral Thrawn. That stories plot was better developed than empires collide, but hasn't been written in full yet.
