So if you had a working cloaking device, what would you do with it?

Please note that this is only microwave cloaking, and pretty much only in 2D.

So it basically works by bending waves in a controlled manner? Further refinement would include the ability to bend all three types of waves.

I was wondering if the shape of the cloaked object mattered, because if it can only be spherical then its applications are more limited.

It seems dependent upon the size of the material than its shape, so it should work when in any shape.

So the military could use it for pretty much everything except firearms, cool. But if it is an artificial mirage then it isn't invisible, just distorted, like a Trek cloaking device.

Anyways, I would use it to cloak a nuclear missile and hold the world ransom for ... one million dollars!
