Well, that's technically accurate (X = sin /= X-er-ophobia, or as they say "hate the sin, love the sinner"), though I see where you're coming from inasmuch as suggesting a slippery slope. Of course, once you start talking slippery slopes, you can't fault the folks making the polygamy/animal arguments regarding redefining marriage, either. Full disclosure: I reject the redefinition of marriage, reject government over-involvement and overuse of marriage as a legal shorthand which has caused issues, but believe some sort of contractual union should be available for folks, which should also cover old farts who wed beyond their child-bearing years.
