How old are you?

Post by Jedi Master Spock » Sun Sep 23, 2007 12:24 am

Just another demographic poll, since we've already done an education poll. The internet is usually full of younger people, but given the continued emphasis certain individuals place on age and education, it's worth seeing how this board compares with the internet as a whole.

OK, I'll sum myself up in two sentences, since you mentioned both age and education.

Age: 33 years young... We old geezers have the right to say that... :)

Degree: Technical Degree in Telecommunications (including networking, fiber optics, antennas, transmitters and receivers, cell phone technology, etc...).

Yeah I'm not the only one in his 30's (35). As for education, high school thus far although I am trying to take a couple of semesters of college, beyond that I can only say that I've been given a specific education so far in the Army signal corps, telecommunications

I beat everyone in age. I'm older than dirt.

As far as education, that one that I wasn't initially self-taught in was Anthropology. My current self-teaching studies include robotics/mechanical engineering, psychology and the biology-physics relationship.

I'm a nineteen year old student of (British) Politics and English Literature, spent the past three years doing computer science in college, currently in the same college but doing a course that's provided and moderated by the University of Lancaster.

... and a quick glance at the poll reveals me to be the youngest person to answer it. That's quite surprising.

Not quite so much given the results of the last poll, but I did expect a few more 18-22 year olds partway through college.

Well, my friends say I have the maturity of an 18 year old.

Does that count? :)

Even a 70 years old man can play like a little kid. :)

Those questions always make me think how people from the third age really had spoiled youths.

70 years old?
That would explain why you're so grumpy all the time... ;)

Narsil, it seems that we finally picked up a member younger than you recently, and someone else in the 18-22 range. You're no longer the "baby" of the board.

Current results 1/2/5/7/0/1/0.
