It couldn't be more erroneous and absurd. Sensationalist hogwash.
Pangermanism hinged on the strength and value of blood and the German race. It didn't care about an union of too many nations, a seething mass of too different cultures. The NSDAP program obviously rejected any concept of an ultra-liberal economical union of that kind as well as it didn't tolerate the power of banks and the mixing of various ethnic groups. That and the complete rejection of a great many cultural and moral values that prevail today throughout the Occidental world. And if it's all a rant due to Germany's current higher stand in that union, let's just point out that Germany's current relative economical power is solely due to deals signed early on with the USA in the 60s, and now its economical strength, which leads people to consider the euro to be a masked Deutsche Mark, has all to do with those deals and the massive money lending to other nations so they could buy German goods (Germany sells most of its stuff to other European nations).
The EU's structure bears more similarities with the Soviet regime mixed to asocial capitalism than anything else, really. It's truly an ugly beast.
The only thing Nazi you could find in the EU is the absence of real democracy. The only pseudo democratic organ of the EU is its parliament and it's currently utterly rotten, in ways beating what the US Congress experiences today.
Oh and the fact that all governments support the Zionist regime of Israel that openly, which is obviously at odds with Nazi values.

EU is nondemocratic corporatistic anti-nationality craphole, and what little social insurance it has left is mostly there to prevent revolution.

But yes, you are correct about political system. It might be that Nazi regime comparisions are used because EU covers mostly territory that was occupied by Nazi Germany, and because most people are familiar with Nazi atrocities, but are unfamiliar with Soviet ones (which were, historically, even worse).
