Re: Homeworld 2
I'm a big Homeworld fan. I've played all the games and on occasion I still do.
It's one of the only game franchises to ever make me shed a tear.
That said: Homeworld 2 is a nice addition to the game world. It's not quite as good as the original game (less variety, don't need to worry about fuel consumption on your fighters) but it makes up for it with a decent story and a world that is just so wonderfully rendered you can loose yourself in the backgrounds.
Online play was always a bit limited imho, but the game is quite old now and odds are if you're interested in playing it you're not doing so for the multiplayer experience, heh.

Re: Homeworld 2
Player vs CPU option is still good, and there are lots of mods around on Internet, so I can't say I miss online playing - althought it seems there are still people active online.
