Clockwise or anticlockwise or both.

Initially she went clockwise. Within seconds I could control it by blinking, in a minute I could control it by thought. A few moments later I could precieve the truth of the images movement. A neat trick.

Predominatly clockwise but I got her to go in either direction mostly when I didn't intend too.

The picture does not spin at all. Try focusing on the text and only watching the image from the corner of your eye. An alteration of the focus of legs, arms, and the heel of the feet merely creates an illusion of spinning.

Crap. I can't get her to go anticlockwise. Supposedly, I'm on the imagination savvy side of the pool, yet I cannot imagine what it looks like if she had to spin the other way. Now I don't know about you but the attributes given to the left and right parts sound deeply bogus. I'm supposed to be all right, but there are parts of my way of dealing with things which are not right at all.

- We knew that.

the first 2 images look clockwise and the 1 on the right looks anticlockwise.

Ah OK. The anti-clockwise pattern needs you to imagine seeing the woman from below.

I don't see the dancer moving at all. I see the dancer standing still while I circle her.
