Either way Tyralak found it. I'll PM Schatts on another board and let him know. I don't think he checks here often.

Like how? Someone speaks of the same subject as me and it's evidence it was me?Tyralak wrote:Sorry, I didn't notice this thread here. Notice the similarities in the writing style of you and StarDestroyerAvenger. If he wasn't actually you, then you have my apologies. However the timing of the posts and the writing styles seem very suspect.
You made the accusation here as well and I have no interest in joining your board.I'm also curious as to why you brought it here, where I was unlikely to find it instead to bringing it to ASVS where the actual accusation was made?

It was more the fact that they had a similar tone, and nearly identical timing that led Ty (and myself) to believe it was you.

Exactly, Khas. People can review the threads for themselves if they like. If you say you didn't do it, then fine, but someone is doing a damn good job of impersonating you.

Truth said, such a coincidence would have left me wondering as well. It doesn't prove anything, but the timeliness and the sheer feeling of copycat with just a slightly more aggressive stance at ASVS...Tyralak wrote:Sorry, I didn't notice this thread here. Unfortunately, whilst I was in basic training and AIT it became overly filled and deleted, in addition my password didn't carry over from whatever change you guys made since then (or at least that's what the login screen says). But I only intend to be here long enough to get some info.
I saw SFJ mentioned over on another board again and decided to do a check on SB which brought me to posts where my name was brought up. Well, being the narcissist I am I decided to see what was said and came across this:
I would be interested in knowing what this circumstantial evidence is given I'm not tech savvy enough to know how to use a proxy.Tyralak wrote:I'm CERTAIN it was a troll. As for if it was a member of the board, I doubt it. Whoever it was, he apparently knew what he was doing. He used he same Chinese proxy every single time. I'm still convinced it was Schatten, due to some circumstantial evidence. But then again, it could have been someone trying to pin it on him as well. In any event, he's been gone for months. I'm not very anxious to see him turn up again. He was a real pain in the ass.

Make a comparison of two sets of posts, first from SDN:

http://bbs.stardestroyer.net/viewtopic. ... e#p3184834
General Schatten wrote: So exactly what purpose was served by calling Mike a control freak? Or how about, "what SDN consists of is the very worst aspects of alt.startrek.vs.starwars, stripped of it's redeeming qualities"? Your bullshit about not trying to compete makes you look like a two-faced liar, considering I've already linked the thread wherein you proclaim your attempt to compete.
That was all in good fun, eh? :roll:Tyralak wrote: They're becoming increasingly irrelevant. We're the next big thing. People will see that sooner or later.
Your harboring rejects from from both SDN and SB who find it hilarious that a bunch of people were literally forced to see child pornography and then blames the victim like a bunch of conservatives would a rape victim that had the audacity to be female at night, whether you realize it or not, does reflect badly upon you. You will be judged by the company you keep.
Then there's the matter of your outright retarded arguments, despite visual evidence contradicting them. I'm sorry, but a third of the Earth wasn't scourged, we've seen megaton level detonations from orbit, those clearly weren't anything of the sort.
And now, from ASVS:Tyralak wrote:Cherry picking things out of context. I shouldn't be surprised. I noticed you omitted the most important aspects of the thread. Plus, you still apparently have trouble with your reading comprehension. 1. Raycav was talking about the invasion itself. 2. I was stating the fact that I have the good sense not to piss off people who would vandalize my board. How you gleaned support for their actions from that is beyond me. 3. I don't speak for Cow. 4. See 3. Also, his point was about personal use of the internet on company time, not excusing the actions of the vandals.General Schatten wrote:Tyralak wrote: Oh dear lord. You really can't read, can you? I don't think anyone there thought what they did was good. I certainly didn't.
Now you're a liar too.
Raycav wrote: Yeah that was awesomeYou Fucking Agreeing With Him wrote: Yeah. And also, I have the good sense not to piss off 4chan. StarDestroyerAvenger wrote: LOL if they let you in they better let fucking RayCav in while they're at it.
SDN and Wong are aware of this thread. The whole world will be aware of what sick fucks you truly are.
EDIT: LOL I see Tyralak is looking at this thread right now. I can just imagine him BAAAAWing his poor little eyes out at the fact that no matter what he does he'll just be a sad little outcast. He should be lucky he's not in jail.
StarDestroyerAvenger wrote: Fuck you, you're just desperate to distract away from the situation. You're a liar Tyralak, and you've been outed.
Tyralak wrote: Taking quotes out of context, and inserting alternate meanings into them is simply delusional and disingenuous. If that's "catching someone in a lie" in your sick, twisted little mind, then so be it.
It's not the style, Tyralak. The style changes a bit... barely, in fact. It's the substance which in several sentences is just basically the same.StarDestroyerAvenger wrote: Not nearly as delusional and disingenuous as your pathetic attempts to deflect your own self-confessions regarding the invasion at SDN. Seriously how can you sleep at night condoning an invasion of any board? Your glee over any retarded trolling attempt at SDN, your attempt to attract all the trash that got kicked from SDN and SB.com and your constant and bizarre attacks on the victims just makes me sick.
So I could not blame you here for being suspicious.
Now, we know that memes happen a lot. It's usual to see one member make a specific attack, and see this "argument" used by others in other places as part of their "argumentation", by rehashing the ad homs seen elsewhere if they're considered good enough.
It could have been a troll finding Schatten's attacks rather interesting enough to try them again over ASVS.
Since there's no conclusive evidence, let's just say it was a cunt passing as GS.
Oh, by the way, we rarely get to see so much irony and hypocrisy in a condensed post such as here.
Serafina approved it, so it must be good.
I guess he should look at what his protégé Vympel still does at SBC these days, and perhaps he should check out the "utterly idiotic arguments" commonly seen all over his board when it comes to Warhammer 40000.
And what better form of persistence if not a website which sticks with the same outdated claims, rebutted ages ago?
Not a chance to see any update coming. What for? As I said, would he start today, there would be so much work on the slate that he'd better just reboot the entirety of his Star Wars related section.

Re: Tyralak, Out In The Open, Please.
After having read the two threads in some detail now, I have to agree. As Mr. Oragahn has already gone over in great detail, the differences in "style" are only slight, while their timing is rather amazing coincidence at best, and the details of each thread follow remarkably. So I do see why Tyralak and Khas would think that, even if it does turn out that they are wrong.

You could be right. Whether it was Shatten or somebody else, I figured out his game pretty quickly. It was apparently to provoke me into banning him so he could go back and proclaim what a hypocrite I am. When he realized I wasn't going to do it, he gave up. His avatar and sig have of course been vandalized, but that was the doing of other members of the site using the FU Store. He/she/it is not banned and never will be unless he breaks one of the bannable offense rules.Mike DiCenso wrote:After having read the two threads in some detail now, I have to agree.
