Hmmm, it could be that, too. But somehow I like the idea of a gaudy and fat looking V-2 better. ;-)

Swiss Re's official nickname is "the Gherkin" (just to steer away from genital metaphors for a moment, if I may :) In fact, typing "gherkin" into Google returns more photos of the tower than of, you know, actual gherkins.

Torre Agbar, designed by Jean Nouvel, was intended to recall both the bulbous rock formations of Montserrat and the parabolic arches of Antoni Gaudi. I like both buildings. If I had to choose, I'd probably go with Torre Agbar, merely because I so love Barcelona, and it puts on quite a show at night.
