Here's what I managed to collect.
US Criteria wrote:complete expulsion or extraction from its mother of a product of conception, irrespective of the duration of the pregnancy, which, after such separation, breathes or shows any other evidence of life - e.g. beating of the heart, pulsation of the umbilical cord or definite movement of voluntary muscles - whether or not the umbilical cord has been cut or the placenta is attached
Germany Criteria wrote:“[a] live birth…exists when in a child after the separation from the mother’s body either the heart beats or the umbilical cord pulses or the natural breathing of the lungs begins.
France: 22 weeks minimum or 500 g wieght

Netherlands: minimum 22 weeks or 500 g weight.

Switzerland: Must have resperation or heartbeat. In some cases must be 30 centimenters long.

Now just to be clear I am not stating that if we all used the exact same criteria the US would magically become number one in this catagory. We do have issues that need to be addressed but it isn't healthcare and it doesn't require socialism. My point is simply that a relativly small gap to began with is even smaller despite deploying two radically differnt methods, socialism vs captilism. To claim that your method is unarguably better based on that and that our rating would magically improve if we accepted yours is illogical.

Now regarding the EU's point five of a year lead on us uninsured Americans here are a few other data points we can plug into the equation. All obtained from the CIA world Fact book.

Now I'm just a stupid American but I'd be willing to bet dollars to doughnuts you get better care in the EU than in say Jordan, who live .2 year longer, or Albania, lives about a year less, or Bosnia, .1 of a year less. Perhapes other influnces affect how long it is until you croak?

(Note in the interest of full discloser all the "top deck" members of the EU I looked at rate in the low 79 range. That isn't much higher through)
