I can honestly say... I'm shocked and greatly saddened. I know that he isn't exactly a science fiction actor but... he still deserves mention I believe, now pardon me while I watch my VHS tapes of his older shows :([/url]

Yeah, I've seen this already. Makes me sad. My grandmother loved that Kung-fu show. Made me watch it all the time. Great guy.

I'll always remember Carradine more for his portrayal of Frankenstien in the Roger Corman cult classic "Death Race 2000" movie.

I also agree with the family that there needs to be a more through investigation into the cause of his death as it does look fairly suspicious, and not suicide.

IIRC, he had attempted suicide at one point in his life. Why is this so unlikely?

Although, I must admit, it does seem suspicious.

Well he was in the process of making another film when he committed suicide (if that is what it really was) so is not like his courier was on the binge or anything like that, he was not too happy with how Hollywood typecast him into roles but that happen to a lot of actors despite their ethnicity which is what he blamed for the the disposition. Still if it's not suicide who would have a motive to kill him? What for?

People kill themselves for many reasons:
Look at Heath Ledger, one of the most successful up-and-coming actors that had just finished the role of his life...
Look at Owen Wilson, a popular actor that tried to commit suicide, but luckily failed...

If there's no indication of wrongdoing, then I do not see why it would be "impossible" for him to do it, as his friends and family have said...
