Rene was an amazing guy and I'm glad I got to meet him at several cons. This loss is coming just months after losing Aron Eisenberg and just weeks after the loss of D.C. Fontana, marks this year as a really heavy blow to the Star Trek community.

This one hit me hard... he was beyond measure, truly a wonderful man to be around. Really wish I had gotten that autograph now.
