On Septermber 21, 2019, Aron Eisenberg passed away. He was only 50.

This is very sad news. Aron brilliantly breathed life to a character that had one of the most profound arcs of any in Star Trek. He shall be sorely missed.

He was a regular at Star Trek and other conventions where he would sometimes dress up in full make up and Starfleet uniform to do a Lt. Nog act. I got to meet him several times and he was always a very wonderful, fun-loving guy. He will be missed.

Such a shame, and so young. I never would have expected it, even as I clicked I was hoping it was just going to be a joke about the character. Terribly sad news.
