A theory about Corporal Askwith and Colonel West

My theory is service in Starfleet agency like the Marine Corps Embassy Security Group. Which seem have security agency part of the United Earth Diplomatic Corps. Colonel West Work in something like Marine corp embassy security group or some other agency is unknown but, theory for Starfleet diplomatic core or Federation Diplomatic Corps. Taking into account United Earth less afraid see be militarize then United Federation of planets idea that agency like Marine corp of Embassy security group working there. Even possible United Federation of planet diplomatic agencies might have some special forces.
