E-D Saucer Section Crash Vs Republic Cruiser Crash

While watching "R2 Come Home" and "Lethal Trackdown" I noted the Republic Ventator class cruiser Endurance has mace a crash landing on the planet Vanqor after sabotage by Boba Fett in bid for revenge against Mace Windu for killing his father Jango. The video can be seen here.

The Endurance hit the planet at roughly around 200-500 meters a second, managing to remain mostly intact during the slideout, however as we can see there is extensive hull damage in the form lots of severe exterior hull plate buckling and structural member deformation. Like with the CIS' command ship Invisible Hand, the bridge and conning tower remain mostly intact, though we see when Anakin and Mace are investigating the bridge during the their searching for crash survivors, the windows have all been largely knocked out and there is extensive control panel destruction as well as structral framework damage. Crew did survive the crash, but were either executed or captured by Boba Fett, Aurra Sing and other bounty hunters. Some of the ship's systems also remain operation, like a series of blast doors that R2 is able to close shut to slow the bounty's advance inside the ship later on after a booby trap renders Mace and Anakin trapped and injured.

On the other side of the coin compare this to the E-D's atmospheric entry and slide out on Veridan III in ST:Generations as seen here; the saucer section lands at about the same approximate velocity as the Republic ship does, but suffers no visible hull platting damage, nor any obvious deformation of the structrual members. The large windows on the saucer's leading edge are not broken, and only the one little dome on the top of the bridge is shattered open. The interior damage of the bridge is bad, but no worse than what we see on RSS Endurance's. The E-D cargo bay area where Data locates and rescues Spot with Deanna's help looks in far better shape than similar interiors inside the Endurance.

Isn't isn't there something that says the E-D's saucer section was designed to land the way it did?

The TNG TM does. But what happened to the E-D's saucer was a very off-nominal event where it was knocked from orbit by the explosion from the stardrive, and damaged the saucer section before it even entered the Veridan atmosphere. It's why they were spinning out of control during most of the descent.

The E-D saucer crash seemed to be at 1/2 to 3/4 speeds, and the impact angle was different as well, but yes, the damage to the SW ship was much more important then the one for the E-D's saucer...

Ships do seem to often be shown moving in slow motion in trek, correct?

The saucer section crash is shown both in slow motion and in real time. During the majority of the slideout, it is shown in real-time. But the initial shearing through the mountain rock outcropings and hills is shown in slow motion, and it is clear during the leveling off and slideout the saucer is doing a good 300-400 meters a second.

The Republican cruiser really came in faster and at a worse angle. Then, again, it was seriously blasted.
But then again, that's good as long as you really take TCWS seriously in that department.
We notice that people's moves and ships accelerations are driven by anime coolness, not realism.
This will allow me to turn an eye on the display of the accuracy of Slave-I's cannons and other things like a mere blaster putting holes through the cockpit glass (if the transparisteel was so craptastic, the ships wouldn't even fly in space in fear of being hit by the slightest bit of drifting metal).
