Constitution-class refit vs Galaxy-class (STAR TREK)
Who would win in a battle to the death? The refitted Constitution-class, or the Galaxy-class? Please give me your thoughts and views.

Should we translate this as please, write that new fan fiction for me?Youngla0450 wrote:Who would win in a battle to the death? The refitted Constitution-class, or the Galaxy-class? Please give me your thoughts and views.
Is there any reason to believe that the "refit" has anything better than the Galaxy-class?

If you honestly can't answer this on your own then you have no place in these debates, since it's obvious you don't know jackshit about Star Trek. Mind you, given that you apparently think that the Federation is weak and that they're a communist power (even though in reality, their entire structure is so far removed from what our own world works off any comparisons are just laughable), I shouldn't really be all that surprised.Youngla0450 wrote:Who would win in a battle to the death? I mean Jesus dude, did you even check Memory Alpha to see which eras those ships are from?

Yes, I have read articles on Memory Alpha. I know about Star Trek. I just want a answer to my question.Mith wrote:If you honestly can't answer this on your own then you have no place in these debates, since it's obvious you don't know jackshit about Star Trek. Compare both ships from the articles at Memory Alpa, use common sense, and the answer shall be revealed.

Make sure you add +2 to the dice rolls if Kirk is in command.

Re: Constitution-class refit vs Galaxy-class (STAR TREK)
I think I have to weigh in here and agree with most of the other responders. This was not the best versus match-up here. If starship weaponary advancement between the 23 century and the 24th is the same as that shown between the 22nd and 23rd as seen in "In a Mirror, Darkly, Parts 1 & 2", then there is no fight at all. The GCS easily stomps the crap out of the CCS. This increase in performance is actually verified in ST 2009 with the ease at which the Romulan mining vessel Narada stomps early and mid-23rd century frontline starships.

What would win... An F-22, or a P-51...
Hmmm, what could it be?!

Howabout this one; a Monitor class ironclad versus an Iowa class battleship. Hmmmm... sounds like a fair fight to me!
