Mike, I would actually ask that you rescind the last warning to SWST, as I do not feel insulted at all...
Coming from SWST, this:
Oh, and Praeothmin, I just read some of your posts in SDN. I had to say, that was a good laugh.
Is just funny...
What I did say was, I was arrogant, and went in thinking I could easily make them see the error of their ways...
Oh, how wrong I was...
Anyways, when one of their chief debaters is called Mr. Bean, and his arguments clearly show he had no understanding of scale and proportions (I had scaled down the DS "cannons" to an ISD's and then Han's Blaster to show them how scaling down firepower directly was so dumb), or that he has no understanding of the difference between architects and material engineers, I realized that it was not worth it to argue against them...

By the way, SWST, anytime you want to start a thread here to "school me", anytime you wish to debunk my arguments I made back then, bring it...

Edit: read all my glorious debating skills here... :)

Edit-Edit: HA! I was indeed dumb, as I believed that an ISD could kick a GCS's ass...
I'm happy I became wiser... :)
I would be interested in hearing where you saw Acclamators firing in Geonosis, or why blowing "small holes" in walls with infantry weapons in unimpressive.

So you failed to read the entire material before posting... Again!
See, I admit in one of my replies that the Acclamators had not fired, that I made a mistake...
Of course, the acclamators could not fire, since, per the movies and TCW, they have no guns...

As for the hole in the walls, it's nothing ST can't do, and for a setting with TERATONZZZZ FOR LIGHT GUNZZZ, it's not impressive... :)

Hey P, remember when you warned me (aka banned me) for not providing proof of X in the same post that I claimed X? I don't see any proof for this in your post, either. But hey, you waited for 24 hours (on a Friday, as I recall) before banning me, because people on Fridays obviously have little better to do than calculate hyperdrive speeds. So yeah, can you please prove this? When have ST hand weapons ever made sizeable holes in walls, and why are rocks and packing crates used successfully as cover?

And when have Star Wars hand weapons heated stones to red glow, and why are trees able to stop AT_ST shots without being even set on fire?
