I can understand the complaint about comic artist taking liberties, but most of the comics I post are from more recent books, I dont know about the moon being blasted part, I myself have posted bombardments from comics to counter the usual world slagging claim because thats the only place you are going to see what an ISD can do to a planet, the effects have never been impressive. The three ISD's colliding with the Executor come from the early star wars comics that came out immedeatly after the second movie, I recall one of those comics featured Jabba the Hutt;

Not quite how I remember him.
I personally put more faith into the newer comics myself although I am willing to accept some parts of the older books (otherwise I'd be hyping the short story 'riders in the void' which shows that anti-matter can easily pass through an ISD's shields and destroy the entire vessel), but I doubt any of them could easily dismiss any of the comic pages that I have posted thus far.
