Sadly, after being given chance after chance after chance, KirkSkywalker, more recently known as MauriceWindows, has been permanned for continued behavior that is rude as well as ignoring requests for evidence. Example:

Wow, Praetho seems to have mellowed out from his usual self.

This is not done easily and unfortunately he now earns a dubious place in this board's history as the first member to actually be permabanned (as opposed to a spambot).

If anyone feels this action to be too harsh, I'm open to hearing your (constructive) arguements in PM or here in this thread.

You know, it's not often a board goes five years without someone getting a permaban. I'm amazed that this board went as long as it did without issuing one.

So he got permabanned before SWST.

The time frame of KSW's involvement on this board is longer than SWST's. KSW came here August 22, 2010, which is over a year and a half ago. SWST, on the other hand, Nov 23, 2010. So maybe in another 3 months or so, you'll get your wish and SWST will be permabanned, if he doesn't learn his lessons.

Well, judging from his debatng style over at SBC, he won't learn anything and IF he comes back, he'll be the same as he was before...

No complaints here. Been a long time coming, and, traditionally speaking, I'm generally against permabands... This time, I'm not.

Well this sordid chapter of SFJN's history has come to a close, and given what Praeo is reporting, we'll likely soon see the end of another.

Wow. If I didn't know better, I'd say they were from completely different people.

Yes, it is sad. One of his early postings was actually a fun little "fanfic" bit about how the midichlorians were actually an evil parasitic contagion that was deliberately keeping the SW galaxy trapped in the stagnant technological and social situation we see it in. That was actually funny and brilliant, and it's too bad that he went down the path he did.

We nearly all recognized that there were good ideas in the stuff he typed. It simply didn't suffice to compensate for the worst parts of his evolution.
