While I was looking over the latest "moderation bias" flap, I couldn't help but notice this thread. FYI, antiprotons and neutrons can indeed interact in an annihilation reaction. It has pion products, of course, which then decay further. It has been examined experimentally relatively recently (namely in the Crystal Barrel).
I'm not sure where this notion of Kerrus and mdg1 that antiprotons can't interact with neutrons comes from, but it doesn't have a basis in actual physics.
