come on guys self defense laws in certain parts of the US aren't that Draconian..simply shooting one of these people the moment they try something at your home and screen capping their plots and providing it to a court of law..was never ever considered during the worse of this? by anyone? Everyone ran scared? there was no attempt to fight back? in any capacity? even non violent?
Below was the link to one of the threads on the topic I was mentioning . . . this is the one where they plan to personally visit this particular guy's home based on aerial photographs found online. That's perhaps the worst example of their map-based visit pre-planning, but not the only one.
I presume it's still there. If not, I have backups.
And no, they weren't all like "hey, let's go kill that evil Trekkie" . . . dumb as many of them are, they're smart enough to recognize the deterrent of prison, and have absorbed enough Law & Order to know that you don't come right out and say those sorts of things.
But put simply, if you post an opponent's home information and wink and nod at your disciples, you can claim clean hands. Cult leaders, Occupy-esque nuts, animal rights loons*, and others do this sort of thing all the time. The leftist trash like animal loons even turn this into high art, with a subculture that puts such harassment as "home visits" on a pedestal as if it is some sort of honorable activity, which other leftists like Occupiers or Koch-haters have adopted.
Wong's only problem was that none of his brood were ever quite worked up enough to even come close to really sacrificing their freedom or lives for the cause, and he himself was too big a puss to go all-in and make it happen like a real, famous cult-leader-type would've. (See, it would've worked if the topic had been something more important or that gave the pretense of such, like religion or animals or abortion or something . . . then a little prodding of the right nutjobs among your group is all you need . . . the subculture, and the violence, almost creates itself, from your perspective. But for a stupid internet debate, he'd have had to have taken a more active role, and like his dumber cultists he too recognizes the deterrents of civilized society.)
*A few of my notes on animal rights terrorist asshats, who only differ from the SDN internet-terrorist-wannabes in their heyday by degree and cause:

As for the self-defense argument, don't think for a moment that concept wasn't on the table. Put simply, had someone during their threat-heyday knocked on my door unannounced and asked "are you Darkstar" I would've at least drawn, if not fired. And in a dark moment or two, I recall almost wishing they had the balls to try it.
But then, of course, they wished they had the balls, too. Lucky for them, they didn't.
