W.H.A.T.???
Yessir, I am from Factpile, this discussion made it onto the site over there, and I thought I'd stop by. It is true that Factpile's admin got banned for trying to defend Factpile on Spacebattles. While I hold no ill-will towards Spacebattles many members do.

As for right now, the site is going through some... rough times... lotta kids, that don't really fully grasp the concept have found the site, and almost every thread goes horribly off-topic, we've been getting some really sub-par matches posted lately. With that said, it's still a good site if you're able to ignore some folks incessantly going off-topic

Welcome to the forum, Stimulant. Is there any way that you can show that what you're saying is true? Links to threads on SBC and Factpile, for example.

Here's a link to the story on Factpile. You may have to use F3 to search for the word "banned" to find where it starts.

http://www.factpile.com/6126-the-eyes-have-it/

The story goes that some former Factpilers (Die hard Halo fanboys) were at Spacebattles slamming Factpile for supposedly being Halo haters. (Mind you the roots of Factpile are Master Chief and Halo which you can see by going to the oldest posts on the site.) So admin went to defend the site and messaged the admins with his intentions and was banned for it.

http://forums.spacebattles.com/showthread.php?t=185336

(A couple threads demonstrating the Factpile hating)
For the most part it used to be just former Factpilers (X on and Hotshot) that hated Factpile on there, but they have bred a large Anti-Factpile sentiment over there

welcome to the forum stimulant.

and I wouldn't worry Spacebattles is scene as a fallen forum by most sites infested by Otaku's and anti comic hating retards and I guess the SDN and Warhammer stuff has soured the sci fi community as well it seems.

I really hate factpile simply because you cannot create your own vs scenarios. I have several on my mind but every time I wanted to make my own I think that the chances of ever seeing my vs debate on factpile is pretty slim. I never really like how the site lags my laptop either.

Mostly, you just have to be persistent. It took me three tries for my "Kharn the Betrayer and Rand al'Thor vs. 60 Million Uruk-Hai" fight to be posted.

So does anyone know how many members go to factpile? I go there sometimes but every time I try to go there the site does not seem to load all that well on my laptop and I am always getting memeory leak number:39 or something on my computer. Does anyone know why?

I don't think I understand exactly what you're asking, Civ. Do you mean how many members are there at Factpile, or how many members from Versus sites, like SFJN go there?
