No. I'm in the communications field. I use it for research related to my job. I've worked as a satellite TV technician for the last 7 years.

I get the basic package for free, which amounts to about $40 off my bill. As far as hacking goes, it's far, far too much trouble to do. Really not worth it. It's the equivalent of driving 10 miles to a gas station to save 4 cents over the station next to your house.
