CheeseBurger Walrus and Stuart Slade
I've heard of CheeseBurger Walrus on SDN and SBC, among other places. But who is Stuart Slade, and why would CBW post a denigrating article about him on the SFJN's Database wiki?

Re: CheeseBurger Walrus and Stuart Slade
ImperialWiki has a short article on him whose content is:
Google also finds a SDN thread that seems to be referring to the same thing that Cheeseburger Walrus was. Apparently Stuart Slade has been writing a series of novels and field-testing his stories in SDN's fanfic section. There's been some kind of commotion involving Slade and the movers and shakers of SDN.
The name also pops up on navweaps.com. He's a public enough figure that you can find out a fair bit about him with Google.Author of The Big One and Armageddon. Stuart Slade is a former Defense Industry employee who once remarked that he has seen things online that he once was forbidden to even dream about. He is one of SD.net's foremost authorities on the subject of nuclear weapons and their delivery.

I still don't see any real negative reactions there. Mostly just people disappointed that Stuart is not continuing his story.

Of course nothing stops you from adding your entry to the SFJN article.

so should I write about my escapades in the Congo with Teddy Roosvelt when we fought bigfoot? or just keep it relevant to the vs debating? :)Mike DiCenso wrote:Of course nothing stops you from adding your entry to the SFJN article.

It usually helps if you keep it on-topic. ;-)
