So tie in's to TAS=good but don't expect to see an aged Ensign Satio on Tarsus IV (as apperently that's where she died) when they remaster the Kodos episode.
Not that it matters, since we (the audiance), never get to see Tarsus IV, nor anything directly relating to it (Kodos himself being the exception) in "The Conscience of the King".

That was just an example of what their not doing. IE: putting in stuff that doesn't relate to the episode.

Which part of S4 was that?

The episode "The Forge", is a big TAS reference in and of itself:

In fact, the entire Vulcan Civil War trilogy continues various references, including showing the Forge, and a Shi'Kahr-like city. Before the 4th season of ST:ENT, "The Catwalk" has T'Pol referencing "Yesteryear" by telling Archer she had undertaken the Kahs-Wan ritual, and even before that the city of Shi-Kahr is mentioned in "Fusion".

No, I'm talking about completely ignoring everything TOS said about starfleet ships from 100 years ago, including them being crude, atomic powered, and having no visual ship-to-ship communication ("Balance of Terror"). Enterprise completely ignores this, and gives us a ship that looks more advanced than the E-D in TNG.

Even in Kirk's time, viewers were sticking out of consoles on goosenecks, and data was printed on regular paper when regurgitated from the computer.

Oh yes, the "The Amok Time" FX reel is available at YouTube:

The inserted background on young T'Pring's picture appears to be missing.
