That's quite surprising. It appears there's been quite a lot of support for a DtDVD sequel, with even more than 3 million raised by fans (!).
That's quite a devotion I rarely saw for another show.
It becomes so obvious that it would be a safe bet for Paramount, if there's a problem, it would have to be on the production side, perhaps about contracts.
But we can't really say the actors of the show have become recurring main characters on other shows since 2004.

Truly an amazing fan effort... remains me of the farscape and firefly efforts of old.

Get Mike Sussman and Manny Coto to work with J.J. Abrams to finish out the series properly and tie it in with the events of Star Trek 2009.

On the bright side, at least he didn't pick a tribble for that pic. ;-)

Hell no. Not after the liquid shit that was the first two seasons and the less than exciting (save for the TOS episode) seasons that followed. What in the fuck could those pieces of dragon scum have offered--

Mike DiCenso wrote:* The really big one would have been the first crossover for Star Trek and another franchise.... In a 2009 interview, Welsh writer/producer Russell T Davies, showrunner of the British series Doctor Who, said that he had considered doing a crossover between Doctor Who and Star Trek, but the latter was canceled before the idea could be pursued. The story would have involved the Doctor's ship, the TARDIS, landing on the Enterprise.

Okay. I'm going out to buy a gun. We're going to Paramount and we're going to put this to the head of whoever is in charge. If anything other than 'yes' comes out of his mouth, Mike will pull the trigger. Agreed?
