As I read the Rules posting and JMS's own user info, Aug 14 2006 was the inception of the site, meaning that today is the 5 year anniversary of this place.

You beat me to it, Robert. Yes, it has been five years of thumbing our noses at the opposition that thought this place was going to fail, or was too insignificant to bother with.
