Neither Pirates nor Ninjas are a match for Gay Cowboys.

Ah, but Pirates are in fact a subvariant of Barbarian Raider, an evolved state with the Thor-worshipping pillagers we all know and love (Vikings) acting as the in-between state. The missing link, so to speak. And you wouldn't argue with a statement that said that Conan or Cohen could strangle any gay (or straight) cowboy with his own entrails, could you?

It's really simple: when was the last time you've seen a ninja with wenches? :D

Cohen the Barbarian is experienced, greatly experienced in not dying. This includes an innate capacity to not be in the firing line when you fire.
