With absolutely no interference from any outside forces; the ROU Killing Time is placed on the edge of the Cardassian System during the Battle of Cardassia as seen in What You Leave Behind.
The ROU has to destroy all involved ships and defences, and all of the involved fleets are rediverted to try to fight off the ROU by some sort of Act of Rassilon. The ROU is armed with a typical compliment of weapons.
This is a simple enough scenario; the Federation has 1,200 ships, assume that the Dominion has about twice that, and the Cardassians have about 900 ships present or something equivalent.
The Culture has only one ship.
Who wins?

This scenario fails right from the get go since we know that the Federation and it's allies (the Klingons and Romulans) had tens of thousands of ships (they were expected to lose "thousands of ships" alone in the push to Cardassia, and were sufficent in numbers to completely surround and cut off Cardassia) in order to overcome the 30-something-odd thousand or more ships of the Dominion, Breen, and Cardassians alliance.
At least try to stick with the canon here. The minimum Federation contribution to the allied Alpha quadrent fleet will be in the thousands, not a mere 1,200.

The Klingons alone only a short while earlier were able to have 1,500 of their ships modified to withstand the Breen's power draining weapon in just one day's time. It seems rather odd that the Federation would only field a fleet slightly less than that.
To say the least, there is no canonical reference to any real fleet size numbers after "Sacrifice of Angels". Indeed, under the discussion section for the Battle of Cardassia, several posters mention that 1,200 ships seems far too small a number.

Narsil has some sort of fetish with making really over powered and one sided threads, the majority of which tend to be the equivalent of a hamster taking on the predator. They tend to focus heavily on the trek side being extremely out gunned.
That said, in this particular culture trek scenario trek does in fact loose until such time as the prophets intervene and kick cultures ass to save Sisko and teleport him to the fire caves. Sucks to be anyone ELSE in the battle though.
Note: The prophets had just as much interest in the battle as anyone actually fighting it, so they hardly count as an outside force.
So, at the end of the day:
Prophets/Sisko 1
Culture/Everyone else present at the battle 0
