A New Terror's Evangelion

Post by Khas » Tue May 13, 2014 1:04 am

So, the ISD Judgement from "A New Terror" once again disappears from the edge of known space, and shows up in the Milky Way...

...Only this isn't the Terrorverse Milky Way. It's the FPE-verse Milky Way, right as of the events of Chapter Twenty-Four. What shenanigans ensue?

Scenario 2:

The FPE-verse Rei Ayanami shows up in the Terrorverse. Along with Evangelion Unit-00. Now what happens?

Knowing close to nothing about the latest iterations of Evangelion and even less about Terror thing, can you tell us more about why you think this is a good match up? :)

Scenario #1: Krevin and Tyler sweet talk their way into the Star Military League. The Judgment, after all, is a large, flexible ship that's reasonably fast provided they have decent navigational charts and hosts a relatively large and reasonably well equiped Army well versed in orbital assaults.

With the seeming uptick of Trollock raids/incursians of recent I believe the UNSL would see the advantage of increasing their rapid response forces with an experienced ship and crew well versed on working on their own on the frontiers of space. The Commodore would also have little reservation for perhaps more clandestine/black ops missions certain individuals may require carried out.

The only serious issue is that as-is the Judgment is going to be tad underpowered offensively, necessitating some rekitting either publicly or covertly, compared to the firepower the FPE-verse throws around.

Scenario #2: Tyler immediately decides he has to gain control of such an awesome and terrifying weapon as Unit-00 while Krevin, being largely an alter-verse copy of Kirk, attempts to seduce Rei Ayanami. Both fail spectacularly in way which invariably involves Krevin cursing loudly, fighting Xenos and looking like an Imperial Hero in general.

Considering Rei's only 14 years old, that's gonna be kind of creepy on Krevin's part. Unless, it's simply trying to get her to join the Judgement's crew, in which case, they've found someone just as terrifying and eldritch as their enemies. Only, on their side.

Sheesh, sorry forgot she's was only fourteen. My bad.

Krevin still likely tries to be a charming, dashing hero to try and recruit her to the Judgment through. Not sure how likely he is to succeed, Rei seems...well in my opinion she's just as likely to slit the throat of everyone as join them.
