Knight Templar in Middle Earth (3000)
Knight Templars from late 12th century are transferred into Middle Earth of year 3000, specifically Arnor. They also receive entire required logistical base.
How does this go?

They'll be puzzled. Their own cultural background may allow them to tie what they'll see to what they've learned as kids in folktales. They'll also be shambled in their beliefs, needing to revise their approach to religion.
In terms of combat, it's hard to tell since there's no date, but they won't pale, that is for sure. They may probably become religious mercenaries at first, also looking for a place to settle.
Their presence as full humans may also trigger a wide variety of things. Their lack of exposure to any ring may be problematic as they'll lack experience against such temptations, unless they realize or are told soon enough about those rings, for which they may decide that they're a manifestation of the devil.
The fact that they discover a new world could be seen as another proof that their god is capable of creating more than one, reinforcing their faith.

they'll be superior to anything short of Dunedeins, Dwarves and Elves
the Rohirim may join their number and some of them (via ancestral marriage with Dunedein) maybe slightly superior physically
when they upgrade their armor and weapons with Naugrim or Dundein steel they'll be a force to be reckoned with that's for sure.

Ah, right... he means, how I understand Jason's posts.
Simple.
1) Locate all verbs
2) Locate all nouns
3) Locate other words
4) Try to make sense of it
