Soon before destruction of Alderaan, two tribbles end up on Death Star unnoticed. How does this go?

People notice there are a few furry things in and around the death star over the next few days.

Then the death star goes all asplodey!

Vadar wonders what this one cute thing in his fighter is.

Hillarity ensues as the entire economic foundation and food production of the known galaxy is wiped out in a matter of weeks.

There will ultimately be no one left to sing songs of the great tribble hunt.

It'd take a helluva lot longer on something as big as the Death Star for even the fast breeding tribbles to be noticed. In such a short time, the crew and troops might see one or two tribbles scouting around for food.

But remember these aren't the only critters running around the Death Star, the Dianoga immediately comes to mind, and rarely did anyone bother mentioning such things.

So given the infestation on Enterprise and Space Station K-7, unless the tribbles can locate a suitably large food source, they won't even get noticed, much less play a part in effecting any major event outcomes. Now that might change if we're talking the genetically modified tribbles of TAS' "More Tribbles, More Troubles. Colonies of tribbles grow together to form one big massive tribble over 2-3 meters wide in some cases. Now that might get someone's attention!

what would happen to the SW Galaxy if say ten tribbles were dropped off on Curoscant and other major hub worlds?
