Tsurani(Riftwar Saga) vs Alagaesia(Eragon)

So what would happen if at the end of Book 1 of the Eragon series the Tsurani from Raymond E. Fiest Riftwar Saga decides to invade the land of Alagaesia. Several portals appear around the desert of the Eragon verse and decide to probe around. How would a battle between the Forces of Eragon against the Tsurani from Riftwar go down?
