Ok so im looking into the Xeelee and see that they were ass kicked or innefectual against these photino bird creatures.

Now as i read about the photino bird creatures it seems they are gradually draining the energy from the core of stars, ending fusion and causing premature aging into a stable red giant—the birds' preferred habitat, as it has no risk of going supernova and destroying them.

However most debaters conside the Xeelee to be about as pimped as a non godlike race can get.

So my question is why are the Xeelee considered so uber when they cannot even beat a speciec that are afraid of and can be destroyed by nova level or smaller levels of power (ok i know a nova is no firecracker but it is hardly the pinacle of high end stuff.

In two words? Numbers.

The photino birds controlled the totality of dark matter and/or dark energy in the universe. While the Xeelee controlled, at their peak, a considerable but much smaller amount (dunno if any percentage was ever given) of the real mass and energy.

Both sides throw resources at each other that make a DET Death Star look piddly. But since dark matter/energy is something like twenty times more common than the kind of matter and energy we interact with in current cosmological thought, the Xeelee at their theoretical strongest were outnumbered worse than Germany in WWII.

It doesn't matter how good you are if your opponent is better. The photino birds are damn scary opponents. It's that simple.

The Xeelee have fighter-sized starships that can blow up stars with their gravitowank weapons. They have literally instantaneous quantum inseparability commo. They have time travel that puts extreme Star Trek fanboy time travel wank to shame, a retroactive-continuity feedback loop stretching billions of years. They built the damn Great Attractor.

Yet in the end ... they're defeated. Overwhelmed by an opponent who can drown them in such mass that they're literally ripped apart by the sheer gravity of their dark matter fleets.
