What is your all-around favorite Starfighter?
Self-explanatory poll. This is not which one would win, but which is your favorite.

There are a lot of choices here that should have, but did not make the list. I will say that the one fighter that probably tops every other is the Xelee Night Fighter.

My favorite starfighter of the ones that are listed is the Arwing. It looks great, has great defenses, has serious firepower, and has good performance as well.

Ya know what, I've decided to vote on this. I like all these fighters, but I decided to go with the Wraith. The ST fighters are too... distant, while the SW fighters are overrated. And I guess that after years of sending in waves of cloaked Wraiths, I just kind of forged an emotional bond with that spacecraft.

It's hard to pick one overall favorite, but I've got to say a serious contendor for my top space would be the TIE Defender. It's triangular geometry is a welcome departure from the symmetry that characterizes so many starship/fighter designs, and it's got the shields, hyperdrive, and copious weapons to go toe-to-toe with any Alliance starfighter.
(And it was my favorite ship in the old TIE Fighter game.)

In the new BSG/Cap shows, the Vipers, definitely.
There's a fan made variant of the Mk-VII that's nice:
We've seen thus far two space fighters, there was another completed model which I suppose was ready for use at some point, the Mark VIII, but probably looked too Cylonish:
And now we have this sweet baby from Caprica:
The lifting on the Mark-II was fantastic.
I'm trying to figure out what a nuStar Wars X-wing would have looked like.

I don't see a whole lot of MK-II in there. Looks a lot like an old G.I. Joe Conquest to me.Mr. Oragahn wrote:In the new BSG/Cap shows, the Vipers, definitely.
