I just re-read Portal at DITL.

It's well written compared to most stories in the genre, though there are issues with characterization and character decision-making. On the other hand, it has at least one very classic line, arguably the most memorable part of the story.

I suppose I could just ignore Snoke's portrayal post TFA and go with the assumption that he's some kind of evil scheming cripple who can hold out...O I can just have the FO rolled...and Ben and the SPED brigade's fleets stand down and flee into Republic space and request an alliance to stop the Dominion..but...meh

Because that would mean giving legitimacy to the last two movies and that makes me flail. I suppose I could though, I may have Im'pec teach Ben how to be a warrior though.

His canon redemption arc made absolutely no sense, Ben was a hot headed bruiser like his grandfather. The path of the Dahar master is something I could see appealing to him, but not the path of a Jedi. It fits Imp'ec as well, in that he was a violent, thoughtless youngster once and Rainbird cut his hand off to learn him some humility, a lesson he happily took to heart.
