We try to come up with the weirdest/funniest/most disturbing fanfic. Whichever one wins that award has to be written by whoever suggested it. I'll go first:

Animaniacs Evangelion

Wild Wild West investigates the order of Dagon?

God-Emperor lands on teletubby land?

The Gummi bears sanctuary is invaded by a necromorph?

The X-men on the bridge of the Enterprise...wait they already did that one.

Megas and crew are teleported into DBZ's Earth after one of Coop's latest tweaks goes wrong? Yes Megas will go super sayian... just cause...

Well those are my ideas on the subject. If I may make a suggestion however instead of just the winner taking a stab at the sureal event could it be a group project? We each pen a short story present them and may the best bard win? Or is that too stupid of an idea?

Okay here is an idea of what I think your asking for Khas, if I'm missing the mark please let me know. Now I beg everyone's indulgence to be kind, that this is only a very rough draft I penned trying to get an "idea" of what was to be asked of me and the characterzations are downright atrocious if present at all but please bear with me. Anyway here's my initial attempt.

Darkness and shadows:The rascally adventure of the Brave Sir Igthorn against the troublesome and uninvited house guests

Brave Duke Igthorn struck the match tip against the damp, stone wall and huddled in its bare and feeble glow as he brought it to the trembling lamp. The goose fat soaked wick sputtering toyingly before taking light. A bare aura of light encompassing the brave Duke who held the shaking thing towards the door and its brace so tightly wedged holding the heavy oak door and its iron hinges in place. Holding him in and the…otherness out.

Their screams still echoing like a chorus through the castle walls, the ancient brick and mortar of the Duke’s domain tarnished and stained forever more now, a haunting serenade that gloatingly reminded the brave sir Igthorn of his mad flight. Of his escape, but with his trusty Toadwart, to the bare and depressing room he was now sequestered. Bricked away and hidden from the things that roamed the halls of his castle, never satisfied and never sated. Not while breath was still drawn, hearts still beat.

He could hear them, the brave and fearless Duke, through and past the forever screams that rolled across the meadows of eternity. The scratching of their feet as they scrambled through the once lit halls, the scratching of rotten fingernails at the oak timber of the door, the rancid growl they made as they picked up his sweat laced scent. All the noises they made as they came for him.

“What are they Toadwart’s, in the name of Heaven and Hell let that be answered. From what accursed pool did these blights spring?” The brave and stoic Igthorn asked of his trusted associate huddled in the corner.” What madness possessed Gruffie for him to do this, to twist the ways of man and beast. Answer me! Why?!”

“I can not say if you will forgive me sire, nothing I can speak of, nothing I can know could suffice you sire.” The runtish ogre cried cupping his hands over his head as the door thundered and jagged lines appeared.

Disjointed fractures which grew longer sprouting siblings as the banging continued, slobbery howls seeping through the splintering wood as the brave Duke valorously moved to shepherd the lowly Toadwart. The quivering and shaking lamp casting flickering and frolicking light across his tightly wound and huddled form as he cowardly sought to hide his face from the gleaming eyes and foaming mouths perchance viewed behind the crumbling door in contrast to how bravely sir Igthorn surveyed the damp, gray walls of his confines for any further encroachment on their domain.

Bravely stood at the rear wall holding the shaking candle intelligently feeling with his hand on the smooth, moisture laden stones for any trap door or hidden recess he could lead his lowly charge to safety through. Speechless with grim determination as first one arm and than another, and another broke through the barrier grasping with inhuman strength that warped and bent even solid steel. Soundless and reserved, sir Igthorn was, as the door broke away and the first of many things shambled through. Eyes that were once and again both live and dead gazing upon him with a burning hunger from beyond the reach of death.

It was only than, the utterly brave Duke, broke his wordless vigil so to protect his loyal servant, calling out in a voice which rose and crack towards one of the misshapen beasts which through the cobwebs of shadows he still recognized.

“Gad…its me…its me…remember…I am your ruler…you have to obey me…obey me!” Brave sir Igthorn called forth to the beast that had once been his subject.

To no avail, the phantasmal gossamer which wove and weaved its thread through the bulging and rotting limbs indifferent and uncaring to his plea. Only its hunger, a hunger that could never end, drove it now. Propelling its hands to reach for the brave Duke as he heroically flattened himself against wall in preparation to defend himself. Nobly and courageously further calling attention and notice to himself as he called out to his lowly servant for him to prepare as well. A selfless and supreme suggestion which was only met with mocking laughter by his servant, no longer afraid, who uncoiled himself to strut in front of the Duke, fearlessly brave that he is, as the salivating fiends crowded around him.

“I am sorry Dukie but in time all things must end. All races end, all days give into the merciless grasp of night.” Toadwart cackled, voice becoming low and menacing, as his flesh mottled and expanded splitting open revealing fat, wiggling maggots and yellowed teeth sprouting horizontally from the widening gap.” I’m afraid this is your time, to wither and die and give of yourself to be reborn. This is your night and struggle or no you shall go into it.”

Laughing still the monstrous mirage of Toadwart shimmered and faded turning into the ether leaving the brave and glorious Duke to his own fate, a minor amount of trickery no longer needed and now dispelled as the ravenous horde encircled the brave, brave sir Igthorn. The great Duke all alone now, forever and eternally, in the fading twilight of the darkest night that had forsaken his domain. All alone, isolated and apart, in a shallow sea of light surrounded by the darkness.

That too passing, deserting him, as it cowardly jumped from his hand and shattered on the stone floor plunging the room into darkness. Leaving only the growl of the hungry demons and the scratching as the brave Duke’s sword was freed from his scarab. All alone but for the screams that would never leave him, screams he joined with his own raw and throaty shrieks, that could never be separated from him he attacked the darkness. He attacked. He…
